10-Week Professional Makeup Artistry Course

*10-week course w/ kit

This intense 10-week program is comprised of a variety of hands-on experiences including 50 hours of in-class training and approximately 20-30 hours of practical application. Our classes are catered to the skill level of each student from beginners to advanced. An extensive makeup kit is provided to each student on the first day of class for use during the course and at home for practical application assignments. Additional support is available to ensure the students are well prepared upon graduation including two free one-on-one 30-minute tutoring sessions with the instructor. As a graduate, you are entitled to continuing education by retaking up to five (5) of the classes offered in the 10-week Professional Makeup Artistry Course at no additional cost.

Week 1 - Beauty as a Business
Week 2 - Basic Elements of Makeup, Color matching, Contour and Highlight, Blush
Week 3 - Eyebrows
Week 4 - Eyeshadow Application, Natural Look, Men’s Grooming and Mature Skin
Week 5 - Eyeliner/cat eye
Week 6 - Smokey Eye
Week 7 - Special Event/Photography
Week 8 - Cut Crease
Week 9 - Makeup Trends/Runway
Week 10 - Final/Certification/Celebration
Upon successful completion, a student will have the skills necessary to pursue a career as a makeup artist for special events, photoshoots, runway, film, men’s grooming, motion pictures, television and music videos, and sales consultants (state licensing as a cosmetologist or esthetician may be required for some jobs).
